What's new on Nokia N96













The Nokia N96 is a high-end camera phone. The device is a quad-band GSM/HSDPA smart phone. It fits a 6 megapixel camera having a 20x digital zoom. The device has a 3.2 inches, 16 M colours VGA display. The device supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.

The camera is equipped with a Carl Zeiss lens and a dual LED flash. The gadget runs on a S60 3rd Edition operating system. The Nokia N96 has a dual slide open mechanism. Its two keyboards open up on opposite sides of the handset. The lower side has a full QWERTY keyboard. The upper side keyboard is for multimedia and phone setting controls.

The handset supports global positioning system (GPS). The Nokia N96 has a little kickstand for watching videos. Its music player supports music file formats like MP3, AAC, eAAC and WMA. It has a built-in WAP 2.0 browser for displaying web pages. The video recorder shows videos in MPEG4 and AVI formats. It has a document viewer that supports popular file formats like Word, PDF, Excel and PowerPoint.
